Clarita Lefthand-Begay joined the faculty this fall, and we profiled her in a new story on the website. She’s the first faculty hire under the iSchool’s Native North American Indigenous Knowledge initiative.

Lefthand-Begay is one of five new faces on the faculty this fall. We also posted a roundup of all the recent additions.

The Technology and Social Change Group (TASCHA) announced a new project studying libraries’ role in global development. The long-term project will research libraries’ impact on the U.N. Sustainable Development goals.

Ph.D. candidate Ivette Bayo Urban will speak at TEDxSnoIsleLibraries on Nov. 18. This year’s theme is transformation. Learn all about how to take part in the event.
