We held our Capstone event on Wednesday, May 31, showcasing the work of more than 300 students. Read about the event and all the award-winners in our roundup.

Associate Professor Joe Janes’ new book, “Documents That Changed the Way We Live,” is now available through your favorite bookseller. The book is based on Janes’s popular podcast.

MSIM student Andy Herman and Informatics students Brittney Hoy and Jonathan Li will serve as gonfalonieres (banner carriers) during the UW Commencement ceremony on June 10. Read profiles of them and students who will represent departments from across the university.

Associate Professor Ricardo Gomez is among the authors of an essay published by Society & Space. It argues that the Trump presidency calls for a global sanctuary movement in response.
