iSchoolers in the News

For Open Access Week, we wrote about the Open Data Literacy research project at the iSchool. Led by Professor Carole Palmer and Assistant Professor Nic Weber, the project is finding ways to make huge government datasets usable and accessible.

Several iSchool students are quoted in this Seattle Times story on the UW’s recent Ideathon. Students asked people about their commutes and travel habits and then brainstormed ideas to improve traffic.
